I'm Matthew Jewell, a director of photography, editor, colorist, and photographer based out of Charlotte, NC. During the school year, I reside in Lynchburg, VA as a student at Liberty University studying Film Production and Content Development and working for Liberty's Campus Recreation marketing department.

I have loved storytelling for as long as I can remember. From writing stories as a kid to creating brand videos and filming short films, I have always loved taking the creative ideas in my head and making them come to life. In 8th grade, I discovered the world of filmmaking, bought my first camera, started learning how to edit videos, and I've never looked back.

 

Outside of this, I love playing and watching sports (especially football, soccer, and tennis), making music, and studying theology.
